About Glenda Hart

glenda hart physiotherapy about

Glenda Hart is a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. During the past 20 years she has lived and worked both in Canada as well as in Botswana, where she worked for 2 years in a private orthopedic clinic, and Qatar, where she had her own practice, offering physiotherapy as well as complementary therapies to her patients.

Her travels allowed her to experience and provide care to patients of different cultures. During her time in Botswana she learned to adapt and “work with what you had” while helping her patients heal… but above all her time abroad has allowed her to meet many new friends and left her with cherished relationships around the world.

She has worked in a hospital as well as HomeCare Therapy and has opened her own practice since 2000. She sees patients both at her own office space that is located in a separate building on her property at 4654 Raymer Road in Kelowna as well as at CO2llab Care & Research.

Experienced as a physiotherapist, and open to complementary therapies, she took a craniosacral courses and began developing a holistic approach to treatment. This first course was followed by many more including

  • craniosacral therapy
  • TMJ & TMD treatments
  • myofascial release
  • visceral manipulation
  • rehab Pilates
  • reflex integration therapy
  • lymphatic drainage

Together, these techniques answered the question of why so many patients do not successfully recover with just physiotherapy alone and by being able to incorporate complementary therapies into her treatment approach, Glenda is able to help her patient’s recover process much more effectively.
